Welcome. E komo mai. Willkommen.
My name is Kristin-Luana Baumann. I use both the first names my parents gave me: Kristin-Luana. Kristin comes from Northern Europe. It represents my origins in Germany and East Prussia and means Christian. Luana represents my birthplace, Hawai’i. The word can be translated as Gathering Place. My name means Christian Gathering Place. My name fits my calling as I am a pastor. I serve Our Savior Lutheran Church in Issaquah, WA, a congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) located on the ancestral lands of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. Here you can learn how to help the tribe in respecting, restoring and protecting these lands: https://snoqualmietribe.us/snoqualmie-tribe-ancestral-lands-movement/.
